Welcome to Dr. Kyu Oh’s Practice
Dr. Oh is a board-certified psychiatrist and psychotherapist practicing in New York and New Jersey. She offers evaluation and treatment for psychiatric disorders including depression, anxiety, panic disorder, OCD, and ADHD for adolescents and adults. Dr. Oh provides telehealth and in-person sessions from her Manhattan office.
Approach to Mental Health
Dr. Oh’s approach to mental health problems is holistic and integrative, combining both psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. She has a warm, kind, and optimistic style of engaging with patients and collaborates with each patient to come up with an individualized treatment plan. About Dr. Kyu Oh
Dr. Oh completed her psychiatry residency training at Columbia University as a chief resident. She is currently a faculty and Instructor in Clinical Psychiatry at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. She graduated from the Psychoanalytic Fellowship at the Columbia Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research, and received the Award for Excellence in Psychotherapy from the Austen Riggs Center. As a recipient of APA (American Psychiatric Association) SAMHSA Fellowship, Dr. Oh is passionate about Asian mental health and psychotherapy.
Dr. Oh completed her medical training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and received her M.D. with Distinction in Medical Education and Research. She graduated from Columbia College with a B.A. in Neuroscience and Behavior.
